Kenosha sits on Lake Michigan between Milwaukee and Chicago, a harbor city with a manufacturing past and a lively downtown. The downtown electric streetcar loop, running historic PCC cars, circles HarborPark and the lakefront, and the Kenosha Public Museum, Civil War Museum, and Dinosaur Discovery Museum cluster near the harbor. Kenosha was once an auto town, home to Nash and American Motors, and that industrial pride still shows in local museums and street names. HarborPark offers a marina, a lighthouse view, and summer festivals on the water.
