Indianapolis is known for racing, but its downtown and neighborhoods offer much more. The Indianapolis Motor Speedway hosts the Indianapolis 500 each May, and the IMS Museum tells the history of the race and its cars. Monument Circle anchors downtown with the Soldiers and Sailors Monument, the Indianapolis Cultural Trail links neighborhoods and cultural districts by bike and foot, and the White River State Park gathers museums, gardens, and the Indianapolis Zoo along the river.
